What this site collects

If you use the Start a Project form, we collect the name, business name, email, phone number and message you type in. That's it: this site doesn't use tracking or analytics cookies, and doesn't run any advertising scripts. Our /trades/ page is the one exception, described below.

To keep spam out, the form runs a small proof-of-work check in your browser (ALTCHA, hosted on our own server, no cookies). When you send the form, our server also records the time, the outcome and your IP address in a private log, so repeat abuse can be blocked. That log is never used for anything else.

What it's used for

Solely to reply to your enquiry. It's sent directly to our own inbox and isn't shared with, sold to, or processed by any third party, except as described below for the /trades/ page's live chat.

How long it's kept

For as long as reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, for normal business record-keeping. Ask us to delete it at any time. See contact details below.

The spam-protection log of submission times, outcomes and IP addresses is kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.

Third-party services

This site's typefaces and scripts are served from our own server. Nothing is loaded from Google or any other third party, except the opt-in chat described below.

Our /trades/ page can offer a live chat, provided by Tawk.to, a third-party chat provider. It's opt-in: nothing loads until you accept a cookie banner on that page. If you accept, Tawk.to sets its own cookies to run the chat, and processes what you type into it, your IP address, and general browser/device information, under Tawk.to's own privacy policy. If you decline or don't respond, none of this happens, and you can still reach us via that page's contact form instead. No other third-party service is used anywhere else on this site.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@cgiweb.im.
