Two things, done properly.
We build the site, then we keep it running. No vague retainers, no mystery invoices.
Websites
A site that loads instantly, works properly on a phone, and says clearly what your business does and how to get in touch. Built by hand, not assembled from a template with your logo dropped in.
- Mobile-first, fast-loading static build
- Enquiry forms tested end-to-end before launch
- Trade badges and trust signals placed properly
- A private preview link you can check at any point
Hosting & Maintenance
Hosting and security handled for you after launch, and changes made when you need them, so the site that looked right on day one still works and looks right a year later.
- Hosting, SSL and backups kept current
- Security monitoring and software updates
- Fixes included, changes in 15-minute blocks, quoted first
- No separate invoice for small edits
Security doesn't stand still.
Neither do the threats. Cyber threats are very real, so the servers holding your site are monitored and reviewed continually rather than set up once and forgotten. Failed logins, vulnerability probes and abusive traffic are shut out automatically, software is kept patched, and the defences are tightened as new attacks turn up.
Five stages, in this order, every time.
You see the site at every stage, and nothing goes live until you say so.
- 01
Discovery
A conversation about the actual problem: what's slowing the business down, who your customers are, and what the site has to do for you. We brainstorm it together rather than handing you a form to fill in.
- 02
Spec and estimate
What we agreed, written up so you can see it is understood, with the package, the price and an indicative timeline. Nothing is built until you agree it.
- 03
Options
Several interpretations of the brief, built on your own private staging area. You look at real pages rather than a description, and you choose the direction to build out.
- 04
Build, review, repeat
The site goes up on a private preview link with a comment pane on every page. You look at real pages, say what you want changed, and it is made and staged again, as many rounds as it takes. Forms, links and the mobile layout are checked for real before anything goes live.
- 05
Launch and hosting
It goes live on your say-so. After that, hosting, security and small changes are handled so the site keeps working and looking right long after launch day.
Questions about how it works.
Do you use WordPress or templates?
No. Every site is built by hand as a fast-loading static build, in plain, standard code kept in version control.
Can you edit your own website?
On West Baldwin and Sulby you can edit your own text, prices and photos in the portal at no cost. Other changes are charged in 15-minute blocks, always quoted before we start.
What happens after the site goes live?
Hosting, SSL, backups, security monitoring and software updates are handled for you, and fixing anything that breaks or stops working is included on every plan.
How are sites kept secure?
The servers are monitored continually. Failed logins, vulnerability probes and abusive traffic are blocked automatically, and software is kept patched.
Do you only work with Isle of Man businesses?
No. Most clients are on the Island, but businesses from anywhere are welcome. Sites are built in English only.
How do you get started?
Use the form on Start a project. It goes to a real inbox read by the person who will do the work, and the first reply usually comes within one working day.
Your site. Your domain. No lock-in.
Your domain is registered in your name, and you get a full copy of your site at launch. Plain, standard code, kept in version control, never tied to our own servers. More on how it works.
